what exactly is handball

for me it is when i'm in the mood, the wife is gone, the lights are low.

it is a SPORT, duh!
a famous sport. you obviously play it with your hands and you have to score goals.

There are different ways to play handball. To me it is played in a walled court, (or any wall) by striking a handball (special rubber ball for the game) against your hands towards the wall and back without letting the ball go other places, just the wall and hand.

However, I've heard (never actually seen or played) Team Handball where two teams of six players and a goal keeper bounce and pass a ball. The objective is to throw it in the goal of the opposing team.

u should have asked ealier, the world championship in men is handball just passed (Germany won), u could have watched a few really great matches of an amazingly great tournament

handball is a really great sport, two teams (each consisting of 6 players & one keeper) r playing vs each other, depending on age one match is up to 60 min (2 halfs 30 min each), it is played with a handball (3 different sizes, men, women, junior), the team who throws (feet & legs r forbidden as the name implies already) the most goals wins

l played team handball as a child. it was a mixture of soccer, basketball, and dodge ball all in one. it was a blast. l wish l could still play it.
