l hate it

It is a good sport but not the greatest sport ever made. It is not even a real professional sport yet. Handball is fun and works out legs and arms as well. It is also very cheap to play. It costs a dollar for a ball in New York and about $20 for a pair of padded gloves.

Is this even a sport? Honestly. Oh yeah! It is a game played in little kiddies gym class and the only reason why is that little Timmy is afraid of a dodgeball and he will sue if he gets hit with one.

It happens once again people confuse team handball (not the hand/wall/ball game) showing that not many people in the USA & the rest of English r even familiar with the game. Handball is popular throughout most of Europe mainly Northern-Central-Eastern Europe as well as Northern Africa.

You see the game of handball 7X7 & played indoors is something like a cross between basketball & soccer (no feet) & is very fast paced high scoring game.

l would not go so far as to call Handball (team) the greatest sport ever made, but it does have a great ebb & flow to the game. My biggest complaint against basketball is the way the end of the game drags on for over 1/2 an hour. A little known handball fact is in the Olympics this sport is one of the more popular global sporting events. Olympic soccer is not very important especially to most Europeans as it is only a U-23 tournament.

Handball does have a professional league as u can see in this Euro Sport Article. 2 clubs from Germany where playing for the Euro-league championships. Germany also won the mens 2007 world championship beating Poland.

Lastly if American gym classes r teaching kids handball then it is about time. At least this is a real sport & the only way we can even get good at it is teaching at the grass roots level. Once again USA Handball (MEN-WOMEN) failed to even qualify for the Olympics.

Its ok, l think soccer is better.

l have never played handball, but l have watched it. It seems fun. l however do play racquetball. Handball seems a little slower than racquetball. Also, all that beating on your hand has to hurt. l bet its bright red after the game. So overall, the game loks fun, but l think l will stick to racquetball.

The handball, is one of he best sport. cause it combines physic, tactic, technique and develops the your abilities to work in group.
PS: for those how r still close-minded, in the world when people say handball, they do not mean US handball (which is not professional by the way, but the one played in all Europe, Africa, and Asia)... the world is German not English .
