How can handball even be a category? People stand around flinging balls to each other. Why do we care??

l do not know much about this topic, but l am always an advocate for careful and responsible treatment of balls.

Handball is a very good sport for younger people to begin with in terms of skill development and tactical team work. The game consists around the skill of throwing and also allows members to learn about placement, communication and team work before they get into more major games such as soccer, football, netball and hockey for example.

Handball is fun--if you come over here to the Bronx, NY and see some of the games you will change your tune.

You do not ''throw balls at each other.'' Handball is played in an enclosed court and the rules are similar to racketball. You wear gloves and it is played with a hard rubber ball.

l play 4 - wall Handball, & it is sort of, on a scale of ability & toughness, tougher than squash or racquetball, but obviously not basketball or football. For a construction worker that wants to play a tough sport, but not lose time to a serious injury or commit too much time away from work, it is perfect. Also, It is one of the most popular sports for x-training other athletes into eye - hand coordination. Especially Boxers. Tyson had a trainer that had him play 4 -wall daily, as Rocky Marciano did. It is an old-school sport. Handball has been called ''The Perfect Game,'' & requires & builds skill & coordination. Why play a lesser sport ?

it is actually a real sport, unlike professional wrestling which has had umpteen million questions asked in the last two days.

In the first place, you do not fling balls to each other, and if you were actually able to play a real game of handball, with people who were good, you would like it.

Sorry, but you obviously do not understand the sport. Handball is the sport of kings. It requires a fearless desire to compete at the highest level of quickness, agility and skill. It is not for the faint of heart. It is a sport for only the toughest and most reckless of all.
