Hi, for american handball in school, do they let u in to just play with others, and not play in games with other schools, like track or do u HAVE to be good enuf to play other schools?

uhh they dont do handball for an actual sport like track

When u r in the team, ur school will eventually have to go against another school to compete. If u really want to play other school u have to be good enough to get a position. Only 7 people in the team can get a position so the chances r low. The positions r 1st single(best player), 2nd single(2nd best), 3rd single(3rd best), 1st double, & 2nd double. If u did not get any of these position then there is actually no point of joining the team. Those people that does not have a position can play with other school is sub but it wo not count. l just think it is a waste of time if u do not have a position because when there is a game, all u do is just watch & cheer or just play with the sub from the other school.
