Its a game, you have to get the ball in the goal against another team, if you can not see the point in it, do you see a point in football, basketball, baseball, tennis, whats the point in any game ?

l agree! l saw some sort of handball game on TV and thought 'what the hell??' Also, is there any point of having a goalie because one did not make one save!!

l totally agree! It is like they've taken a load of ball related games and decided to mesh them together, they made a bad move with handball to be honest!
