they are quiet similair

No not really while both sports r racket sports in which the players hit the ball off a wall & if ball bounces twice before opponet can hit it u win the point. That is where the similarities end. What make Squash so different from Racquetball is that the ball is very slow & this means that as the ball bounces slowly off the floor the players have to run faster to return it to the front wall.

Since Squash is a game of strategy it has been called playing chess with a racket. The players strike the ball alternately onto the courts front wall. They can do this directly or use the side & the rear walls creating subtle winning shots. Play starts with a service & continues until 1 player can not return the ball before it has bounced twice.

Racquetball- Ball moves fast all the walls & ceiling is in play . Look the walls play a big part of the game
