handball is a very popular sport in other parts of the world besides the United States. even if the section is unpopular people still play it here in the states and it deserves its spot.

The reason why Handball deserves a section has to do with the fact it is an extremly popular sport in most of Europe, North Africa & is also played in South Korea & Brazil & all of these countries ARE PART of international. Remember YAHOO Q&A ISN'T JUST FOR USA IT'S AN INTERNATIONAL FORUM.
That is why there is Cricket & Rugby & 4 types of FOOTBALL. Do u think most people in Germany & France r interested in Baseball & American Football or NASCAR?
YAHOO INTERNATIONAL- Has the following categories France, Germany, Spain where the sport is played with pro leagues & clubs. In addition it is a Summer Olympic Sport since 1972 & has a World Championships & European Championships. Brazil is the dominat team in the America is where the sport is not as popular. Also South Korea has a good international team as well & the sport is growing in Asia.
l am not talking about hitting a ball of the wall with a hand. l am talking about team handball 2 teams seven vs seven (including goalies) . In which players pass, catch, & dribble the ball. Team that scores the most goals wins.
