Handball (also known as team handball, field handball, European handball, or Olympic handball) is a team sport where two teams of seven players each (six players & a goalkeeper) pass & bounce a ball trying to throw it into the goal of the opposing team.

The game has a goal similar to but smaller than the one in football (soccer), though as the name implies, the basic method of handling the ball involves the players' hands rather than their feet. The game has been played internationally since the 1920s.

First of all, there are two types of handball. One is a sport that is played internationally, which is like basketball and soccer. You have to throw the ball into your opponent is net to score. The other type of handball known as American Handball is a little bit different. It was created by the Irish and it is played with a small blue ball and a wall. You have to hit the ball to the wall with your hand and then your opponent have to hit it. This type of sport is not international
